Power down your ATV and rev-up your mouse for a trip down our road, a site for ATV info, accessories and fun!
Riding
an ATV just may be the most fun you can have with your clothes
on. Something remarkable happens when you're out in the woods, blazing new
trails and seeing sights and wildlife few others have experienced. I guess
you'd call it... well, FUN!
This isn't another one of those cookie-cutter, gotta sell ya something quick websites. We try to provide a fun experience for you, and I can bribe you with a great reason to stick around. We just so happen to represent some of the biggest names in the ATV aftermarket for accessories, parts and customized add-ons you just can't live without. Check out our ATV 4x4 store!
As
an example, visit any ATV dealership and you'll find them selling winches for
prices that would make you lose your lunch. We don't just claim to have low
prices, we even have a Best Price Guarantee! For every
product we sell, we'll match any advertised price from a local store, Internet
or mail order company stocking the same new item. The item must be for sale with
a manufacturer's warranty and in a factory-sealed box. Even after your purchase,
if you find a lower advertised price within 3 days, including our own sale
prices, we'll refund the difference. Learn more about this guarantee in
our
store!.
Don't
worry, I won't tell anyone. Believe it or not, I wasn't born on the back seat of
an ATV. We're all newbies at some point. The best part about getting some
time in the saddle on an ATV is that unlike a motorcycle, it won't just tip over
(unless you park on a very steep hill).
I'll be the first to admit that it takes some practice to get the feel of climbing a steep hill and navigating over rocks, fallen trees and shallow streams.
Hey, this ain't 'rocket science', but people do injure themselves by being careless or pushing the vehicle beyond its limits. My advice to any new owner is "relax, don't try to keep up with the teenager down the road that's been riding since he was three years old". Drive around on the flats and get to know your vehicle. Graduate to inclines and practice slipping in and out of 4-wheel drive. In short, get comfortable with your ATV and when that dicey situation eventually occurs, you'll instinctively know what to do.
Which ATV model is best? My response when I hear such a question is "who cares"? Sure this is great tavern talk or the way to preface a challenge for a competitive trail run, but the only important thing is that you have fun getting out in the woods and getting muddy or covered with snow. All of the top All-Terrain Vehicle manufacturers produce 'quality quads'. If you like a particular model... buy it! If it works for you... great. Then be sure to visit our ATV Store and pimp your new ride :-)
My bride and I own two Yamaha quads (4-wheel drive and/or 4-wheel vs. earlier
3-wheel ATVs). She drives a 2003 Kodiak 400
(Auto. 4x4) and I straddle his big brother, a 2006 Grizzly 660
(Auto. 4x4).
Our ATVs provide a perfect mix of work and play. We live in northwest
Montana and have some of the best trail riding anywhere. Huge lakes and
magnificent mountains makes a trip in any direction a good choice. See
some photos of our ATV adventures.
The list of ATV manufacturers continues to expand with new models being introduced almost every year from China, Taiwan and other developing countries. The most popular and familiar company names include Arctic Cat • Can-Am (a.k.a. Bombardier) • Honda • Kawasaki • Kymco • Polaris • Suzuki • Yamaha.
